Monday 25th April
Partners’ arrivals.

16:00 – Meeting students, teachers and host families. Introductions.
17:00 – Visiting the surrounding area.
18:00 – Evening with host families.
18:00 – Teachers’ workshop.

Tuesday 26th April
8:25 – Arrival at school. Welcome.
8:40 – A school guided tour.
9:10 – 9:20 Break time.
9:20 – 10:05 Ice-breaking activities.
10:05 – 10:15 Break time.
10:15 – 11:00 Ice-breaking activities.
11:00 – 11:20 Break time
11:20 – 13:05 PowerPoint presentations. Each school will be
presenting its education system and schoolrules aiming at
reducing absenteeism and school failure.
13:05 – 13:35 Lunch break.
14:00 – A visit to the town hall and meeting the President.
14:30 – 16:30 Watching the interactive exhibition „Giants of Powers”
at the Municipal Culture Centre.
16:30 – 18:00 A walking tour around the town guided by students.
18:00 – Evening with host families.
18:00 – Teachers’ workshop.

Wednesday 27th April
A full day trip to Oświęcim, Brzezinka and Kraków
(packed lunch provided by host families).
6:05 – Gathering in front of the school building.
6:15 –  Leaving for the trip. 
9:45 – 14:00 Visiting the concentration and extermination camps
in Auschwitz and Birkenau. A unique history lesson stressing
the need to look after diversity.
15:15 – 18:30 Visiting Krakow. Outdoor and indoor art
and history lessons.
18:30 – 19:30 Dinner in a restaurant.
19:30 – Leaving for Bełchatów
23:00 – Arrival in Bełchatów and a return to host families.

Thursday 28th April
8:25 – 10:05 Partner schools will be presenting PowerPoint
presentations about their education systems to Polish students
in different classrooms during two lessons.
10:05 – 10:15 Break time
10:15 – 12:05 Compiling strengths and weaknesses of
our schools from students’ points of view and a discussion
on results.
12:05 – 12:20 Break time
12:20 – 13:05 Drama workshops – persuading an absentee
to attend school.
13:05 – 13:35 Lunch at the school canteen.
13:35 – 14:50 Drama workshops – recording short rhymes,
scenes and sketches encouraging an absentee to attend school.
14:50 – 15:00 Break time.
15:10 – 15:55 Working on spreading information about
the project with the use of  the etwinning platform
– group 1/A dance class – group 2.
15:55 – 16:05 Break time.
16:05 – 16:50 Working on spreading information about
the project with the use of the etwinning platform
– group 2/A dance class – group 1.
17:00 – Evening with host families.
17:00 – Teachers’ workshop – discussing financial issues.

Friday 29th April
A half-day trip to Rogowiec (packed lunch provided
by host families).
8:25 – Gathering in front of the school building.
9:00 – Leaving for the trip.
9:30 – 11:30 Visiting the local power plant.
Familiarizing with the process of producing electricity.
12:00 – 13:00 Climbing the local man-made hill Mountain Kamieńsk.
13:00 – 14:00 Lunchtime.
14:30 – Arrival in Bełchatów.
Afternoon with host families.

17:30 – 20:30 A farewell reception with the students,
host families, authorities and the school staff.
17:30 – Students’ performances.
18:30 – Presenting diplomas.
19:00 – Finger buffet.
